Music CD Project
Beginning in mid-2006, the
CD project has brought
together a diverse group of
musicians who are using
elements of Afghan music and
the stories of Afghan
musicians, as inspiration
for their own original
compositions.
The result will be a
unique collaboration that is
sensitive to Afghan culture
while incorporating new
influences into this style
of music.
The proceeds from the
sale of this CD will be used
to build a permanent
vocational school of music
for orphans in Kabul as part
of our pilot project.
